Happy New Year to you all, we’ve had a good break after the hectic few months running up to Christmas.
We have an Exciting year planned of online tastings and potentially later in the year we would love to go back to our bread and butter in the pubs of Cork City, only if it’s safe to do so.
We have Some exciting cask projects in 2021 to look forward to and we will be advising of those when the time is right.
Our Annual Burns night tasting is on Fri 29th Jan at 8pm Sharp. We will once again welcome our resident Scot Ewan Patterson to toast the Haggis.
Please note Due to the 5km level 5 restrictions, this tasting is only available to members living or working within 5Kms of the following Ballincollig, Cork City, Glanmire, Carrigaline and Midleton as Committee members will be setting up localised non contact collection points. Postage is not an option due to current An Post delays and it would add about €10 to the cost of your pack also if it was available. Once registered your collection point will be allotted based on your address, so make sure that is up to date on our system.
Event will open for online registration at 6pm Sunday 17 Jan 2021. Registration will be closed on Thursday 21 Jan 2021 at 10pm. Registration is limited to 68 members.
Once registration closes we will pass on further details of the night planned and we hope you would consider going the full hog and treating yourself to a proper burns night supper to mark the occasion. We can provide all the details of what you need to serve up some Haggis Neeps and tatties. We may even have a prize for the best attempt at your very own burns night supper!!
